Park Reservations

Please note that due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the county commissioners have closed access to all public buildings and they will be evaluating the opening of these facilities at each board meeting moving forward until such time they are willing to open the buildings. That said we will not be immediately approving park reservations for gatherings in excess of the federally recommended levels until the restrictions are lifted.

County parks are open 365 days a year, from dawn to dusk. 

  • Reservations for county park pavilions are accepted Memorial Day through Labor Day:   May 25, 2020 to September 7, 2020Reservations must be made and formally approved in writing one week in advance.

  • Pavilions are not available for reservations September 3, 2019 through May 24, 2020. During these dates, the pavilions are first-come, first-served.  

  • Reservations are avilable for pavilions at the following parks Memorial Day through Labor Day. Reservations can be made one year in advance.

    • Pioneer Trails Picnic Grounds

    • Sweetwater County Picnic Grounds

    • Reliance Park

    • Crossroads West Park

    • Big Sandy Park – Farson

  • Reservation period for 2020: May 25, 2020 through September 7, 2020.

  • Electricity and water are not available in the parks.

  • No dunking tanks.

  • Reservation is for pavilion only.

  • Reservations are not confirmed until the office emails a confirmation letter.

  • Reservations are NOT accepted for the following facilities: (These facilities are first-come, first-served).

    • Arrowhead Springs Park

    • Mesa Park

    • Bicentennial Park in Eden

    • Archery Range

    • Shooting Range

  • Inflatable bouncers are allowed only by approval. Party requesting bouncers must submit both documents to the office by the third Wednesday of the month:

    • A written letter requesting permission to have an inflatable bouncer.

    • A Certificate of Insurance listing the Sweetwater County as an insured.
